Bring workout clothes\, running shoes\, gloves\, hat\, and a 3-5 gallon bucket. You do not need martial arts experience. Just join the fun! \nCost of entry for this great boot camp is a few cans of food each day to donate to the North Texas Food Bank – you’ll get a great workout and maybe make some new friends too.  If you’ve been interested in learning a little bit more about our adult Kenpo Karate program\, this is a perfect time to learn some karate basics as well. \nPerfect for adults and motivated kids age 6 & up. \nIf you want to participate\, email info@dallaskenpo.com and let Sensei Genevieve know\, as the event will only run with 10 or more people signed up.

DESCRIPTION:We have an adult belt test coming up on Saturday\, February 3rd.\n\nThis will be a PRETEST for all possible shodan candidates for WW24\, as well as a test for those testing for rank.\n\nWe are planning to hold the test at Winfrey Point\, starting at 11am (no adult class that morning).\n\nBook reports are due 2 weeks before your test\, which means Saturday\, January 20st. \n\nShodan candidates do not need to turn in book reports for a pretest (but you do if you are testing for rank).

DESCRIPTION:When you have all six of the colored skills stripes\, you may be promoted to the next rank. Younger students are promoted in class\, while students age 7 and up with all of their stripes are eligible for the cumulative belt test on the last Friday of the month. \nThe test is cumulative\, it covers everything you have learned since day one… not just the recent material. \nBelt tests take place at Lakewood Dojo. \nThe only exception to this is if your child is a ZOOM online student only. All other students must test In Person. Zoom tests must be arranged ahead of time with Sensei Genevieve. Email info@dallaskenpo.com ahead of time to arrange a test for a Zoom-only student.
