DESCRIPTION:When you have all six of the colored skills stripes\, you may be promoted to the next rank. Younger students are promoted in class\, while students age 7 and up with all of their stripes are eligible for the cumulative belt test on the last Friday of the month. \nThe test is cumulative\, it covers everything you have learned since day one… not just the recent material. \nBelt tests take place at Lakewood Dojo. \nThe only exception to this is if your child is a ZOOM online student only. All other students must test In Person. Zoom tests must be arranged ahead of time with Sensei Genevieve. Email info@dallaskenpo.com ahead of time to arrange a test for a Zoom-only student.

DESCRIPTION:The Leadership Program will meet on the first Thursday of every month (excluding January)\, from 6:30-8:00pm. \nCSSD students can join the leadership program at purple belt and at least 9 years of age\, and all are expected to participate by the time they advance to the rank of blue belt. \nWe will meet the 1st Thursday of every month to learn “instructor training” tips on helping in classes\, to work on fun off-curriculum and advanced material\, to learn about the history of the martial arts and Gasan Ryu Kenpo\, to discuss ways to incorporate leadership skills into other areas of life\, and more! \nClass: 6:30-7:15pm\nMeeting: 7:15-8:00pm
