DESCRIPTION:When you have all six of the colored skills stripes\, you may be promoted to the next rank. Younger students are promoted in class\, while students age 7 and up with all of their stripes are eligible for the cumulative belt test on the last Friday of the month. \nThe test is cumulative\, it covers everything you have learned since day one… not just the recent material. \nBelt tests take place at Lakewood Dojo. \nThe only exception to this is if your child is a ZOOM online student only. All other students must test In Person. SUMMARY:Kids Belt Test
DESCRIPTION:When you have all six of the colored skills stripes\, you may be promoted to the next rank. Younger students are promoted in class\, while students age 7 and up with all of their stripes are eligible for the cumulative belt test on the last Friday of the month. \nThe test is cumulative\, it covers everything you have learned since day one… not just the recent material. \nBelt tests take place at Lakewood Dojo. \nThe only exception to this is if your child is a ZOOM online student only. All other students must test In Person. Zoom tests must be arranged ahead of time with Sensei Genevieve. Email info@dallaskenpo.com ahead of time to arrange a test for a Zoom-only student.

SUMMARY:July 4th Lakewood Parade
DESCRIPTION:The Lakewood 4th of July Parade is this Monday\, July 4th.  \nChamberlain Studios will be hosting a float for the parade as in years past. We will arrive at the Lakewood Dojo to decorate our float at 8 am on Monday morning (we will leave the dojo by 9).  We would love for you to join us in decorating and/or riding in the float! \nParticipating students should wear a Chamberlain’s shirt or their karate uniform. We will have NEW Summer Ninja shirts available as well! Wear sunscreen & hats as needed.  \nImmediately following the parade\, we will have ice cream at the dojo!
